Why is there a specific kind of order in the time of day/night in the other world. This is a short random thought as I was watching the movie one night. And maybe Coraline said it wasn't her fault because she didn't want to think it was her fault and thats why her mother is so distant in the real world, and clingy in the other world. I mean, why would her other mother morph into a weird skeleton near the end. Hence making up a weird little world of her own just to bring a bit of peace to her mind. So my theory is that maybe Coralines mother died, and Coraline went crazy. Which can lead to spinal injury blahblahblah. Coralines mother is wearing a neck brace (As I said) and neck braces are used after severe injury to the head/neck. Coralines mother says something about there being a crash, and then Coraline says it wasn't her fault. You can see that Coralines mom is wearing a neck brace. So this theory is kinda far fetched, but in the beginning of the movie, Coraline is talking to her mother in the kitchen. Coraline is actually crazy and creating her own little world in her head. Yes I know the book came out first, but I like the movie more) (I've only read the book once and I wasn't a fan of it.
So here's a few short theories out of very very many that I've come up with. They are all different and a lot arent connected to each other, they just came to me as I watched the movie. It's such an amazing movie and there is so many plot holes and theories to think of. So ever since I was 7, I've been watching Coraline.
